General Wedding Questions
How would you describe your wedding photography style?
My approach blends documentary storytelling with intentional portraits. I look for real, candid moments as the day unfolds and follow my journalism background to tell the story of your day through my lens. I'm happy to pose you and give gentle direction, if that's what you want, but I prefer letting the each moment speak for itself.
I prioritize emotion, connection, and consistency over overly posed or trendy images.
Do you photograph weddings as a lead photographer?
While I currently only have wedding experience as a second shooter, my wedding photography approach is shaped by years of fast-paced documentary sports coverage and that second-shooting experience. Within both, anticipating moments and managing timelines is critical. Whether shooting large celebrations or intimate moments, I leverage that experience to tell complete and meaningful visual stories.
How many images will we receive?
Every wedding includes a curated gallery of edited images. the final number varies depending on coverage length, guest count, and the flow of the day.
Rather than promising a specific number, I focus on delivering a complete and meaningful story of your wedding day.
Do you provide RAW or unedited images?
No. Only fully edited images that reflect my artistic and quality standards are delivered. RAW or unedited files are not provided.
How long does it take to receive our photos?
Turnaround time is no longer than 12 weeks, with some collections having a shorter period. During peak season, delivery may take slightly longer. A preview gallery will be made available to you earlier than your full gallery.

What wedding packages do you offer?
Wedding coverage is offered through a set of thoughtfully designed packages that vary by coverage length and included services as shown above.
Can we customize a package?
Packages are designed to cover most wedding days.
I can provide an "a la carte menu" with pricing to build the perfect coverage for your day. However, a fully customized package is its own. I will not start with one of my pre-built packages and piecemeal it.
What does "coverage time" mean?
Coverage time refers to continuous photography coverage on your wedding day, starting at the agreed-upon time and continuing without breaks until coverage ends.
Do you offer second shooters?
Second shooters are included within the Signature and Heirloom collections. I also offer having a second shooter as an add-on option for the Intimate and Classic collections.
Engagement Sessions
Are engagement sessions included?
Engagement sessions are included in three of the four wedding collections and is available as an add-on option for the Intimate Collection.
Engagement sessions are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and experience my shooting style before the wedding day.
Where do engagement sessions take place?
Engagement sessions can take place at a location of your choice or at a recommended location based on lighting and season.
Planning & Timeline
Do you help with timeline planning?
Yes. I'm happy to offer guidance based on experience to help your day flow smoothly, especially around portrait timing and lighting.
What do you do if you haven't photographed a wedding at our venue before?
If I haven't shot at your venue before, I will either plan a trip to the venue ahead of the wedding day to scout out lighting and backgrounds or I will arrive early on the day of the wedding to scout.
I may also get in touch with your planner, other photographers, or search social media for advice on shooting the venue.
Travel & Logistics
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes. Travel within a set radius is included. Weddings outside that area may include a travel fee, which is outlined clearly before booking.
What if there's bad weather?
I work with whatever conditions the day brings. Backup plans are always recommended, but I'm experienced in adapting to weather changes quickly.
Booking & Payment
How do we reserve our date?
A signed contract and a non-refundable retainer are required to reserve your wedding date. Dates are not held without both.
Is the retainer refundable?
No. The retainer secures your date and covers preparation and scheduling. The remaining balance is due prior to the wedding date. That payment schedule will be further discussed at the time of booking.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
Cancellation and rescheduling policies are outlined clearly in the contract. If you need to move your date, I'll do my best to accommodate based on availability.
Usage & Rights
Can we print and share our photos?
Yes. You'll receive a print release for personal use, including sharing on socials and printing your images. Commercial use by vendors or publications should be coordinated separately.
Do we own the rights to the photos?
No. The photographer retains all copyright and ownership of the photos. You are paying for a personal use license and print release, which grants you permission to share on social media and with your family, and print your photos as well.
This is common practice and is clearly defined within the contract.
